Hey guys. As you can probably tell i’m still trying to figure all of this shit out. My plan is to post reviews and trailers of some great cult classics that you probably don’t know about. The first movie i thought about reviewing was because of Steev and Casey Doud. Without these the help of my best friends i wouldn’t be doing this.
So first off, Tetsuo The Iron Man. A surreal film that revolves around the transformation of humans into grotesque hybrids of flesh and metal. This film was shot through black and white 16mm film and included all of the oldest tricks of modern film making. Stop motion effects, lighting, cinematogrophy, animation along with a phenominal music score were just a few of the elements that helped bring Tetsuo to life. Many of the design elements mimic that of H.R. Giger the biomech master. Since i’m at work and running out of time i can’t give you an in depth perspective of this film. One thing i will say is pack your pipe and watch this mind bending creative masterpiece.
